This position will be required to maintain HPC Linux clusters while working daily with customers to provide support for HPC environments. You will be on-site at the customer’s location, dealing directly with the customer on a daily basis.

You should have excellent communication and organizational skills. Be comfortable at the Linux command line, and have some experience with pc hardware, networks and storage architectures. You should also have experience maintaining Linux hardware environments. You will be a support contact for complex environments, providing support for HPC clusters and storage systems in data centers. . You will be required to work independently, set customer expectations and work with Penguin's hardware and software development teams to support and maintain Linux HPC clusters.

Duties: Duties & Responsibilities:

• Linux and HPC cluster Support
• Attend customer meetings
• Manage parts depot
• Handle incoming support requests quickly, patiently and accurately
• Opening, managing and documenting cases and work orders
• Rotation Duty as On-Call Support Engineer
• Maintain HPC network and hardware configurations for customers
• Ready to quickly learn about HPC applications and infrastructures
Qualifications:Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience with Linux, including system and network administration
• Server hardware trouble-shooting and repair skills
• Strong organization skills
• Understanding of enterprise environments and datacenters.
• On time, reliable.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills with a track record of problem solving without escalations.
• We are an upbeat team who value enthusiasm and a work ethic as much as your technical skills.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) a plus. If you do not have the certification, we will reimburse your tuition once you have successfully completed the course.
• Good problem solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve customer issues.

U.S. Citizenship is needed for customer site requirements.
