| Duties: | About the Position:
This is a technical member of the sales team covering the West region of the United States
Work with Account Manager to identify, qualify and close new sales
Perform Field technical design
Develop technical responses to RFI/RFP
Recognize and interpret customer needs, and architect comprehensive solutions
Develop and conduct product presentations involving system architecture and design, system troubleshooting
Travel throughout the region to perform technical sales, and position Penguin solutions vs. competitors
Compensation includes commission based on sales performance and attainment of team goals
Some project management work in the factory

| Qualifications: | Requirements:
Strong knowledge of:
CENT OS
Red Hat
HPC Clusters
UNIX/Linux server environments
Infiniband
NFS Storage
MPI
Professional Services
Strong knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) application development
In-depth knowledge of cluster technologies and optimization techniques
Minimum of three years technical sales experience, proven track record of closing deals with sales team
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to travel as needed up to 30% through the assigned region
